Terms and Conditions

When placing any order with Azure Aquariums Ltd, via telephone or online, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Description of Goods
1.1 Goods are subject to availability. If the goods are not supplied as specified within a reasonable period of time, we may offer a similar product or a full refund.
1.2 We try our utmost to keep descriptions and prices up to date. If for an unforeseen reason an error is made, we will inform you as soon as possible and previous contract of sale does not apply.
1.3 In addition to the price shown, you may be required to pay a delivery charge.
2. Payment
2.1 Payment for goods and delivery will be accepted by any means specified on the website at the time of order.
2.2 Payment must clear before goods are despatched.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery of all products will be completed as a door-to-door service in the UK mainland only.
3.2 All efforts are ensured for next day delivery; however delays are outside our control. If goods are delivered in a reasonable amount of time we are not responsible for any losses or expenses.
3.3 On acceptance of your delivery, if the package looks damaged either sign as damaged or refuse the delivery.
3.4 If you are unable to check the contents of the package please sign the delivery note unchecked.
3.5 Areas in northern and north western Scotland may be subject to slightly longer delays.
3.6 We do not take responsibility for items lost in transit.
4. Shipping
4.1 We ship to countries outside the UK mainland. Please contact us for further details.
5. Acceptance & Risk
5.1 When the goods are delivered to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature.
5.2 From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your risk.
5.3 Any transit shortages and damages should be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery. Failure to do so will relieve us of further responsibility.
5.4 Damaged goods should be reported within 3 days of receipt. Beyond this point we do not take responsibility for refunds or exchanges and we will refuse any returned items if the 3 day reporting is not adhered to.
6. Exchanges and Returned Goods
6.1 Exchanges will be given on any damaged items as long as they are returned unused, without alteration or tampering and in the condition they were received, buyer must notify us within 48 hours of receiving item.
6.2 Goods that we find working to manufacturers specifications will be returned to you and the cost of the carriage charged. Any returned goods refused to be accepted back by the customer will also incur direct costs.
6.3 If you return the goods, you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and to see that they are received by us and not damaged in transit. Should the goods be returned by the courier not in their original box and packaging, the courier will not insure the goods against damage.
6.4 All accessories should be unopened and unused.
7. Warranty
7.1 Warranty period extends to 12 months unless otherwise stated, this does not include accessories.
7.2 The warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
7.3 Warranty is rendered invalid if: damage is caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect or tampering.
